I am a designer, sewist, indie crafter and mommy of two boys. On this blog, I offer practical creations for the domestic lifestyle that always carry a quirky and fun twist. Hideous! Dreadful! Stinky! is chock-full of tutorials, inspiration, giveaways and irreverent humor for the DIY mama. By advertising here, you are reaching an ever-growing community of artful souls who embrace the handmade life.

1 month = $12
3 months = $30 (like paying $10/mo.)

The Catch (PLEASE READ THIS ONE):
Hey! So those are pretty good rates, right? The only catch is this: The way my blog looks is important to me, and the quality of the products I'm endorsing to my beloved readers is super duper important to me. So I don't just take any old shop that waves $12 in my face! The ad design needs to fit in well with the rest of the blog's aesthetics, and the products or supplies have to be of interest to my readers (i.e. related to crafting, sewing, design, babies, women, eco-friendly--you get the idea!). Also, I don't want my sponsors competing with each others' products, so if I already have, say, an ad for monkey ear hats for kids, I probably won't accept an ad for cupcake hats. But! You should still contact me with your cute cupcake hats because I keep a list of blogs that would like to advertise with me, and I could contact you in the future when a spot in the "adorable hat" category opens up, and maybe even offer you a special rate or free ad space.
Also, I can't ever, ever, ever accept an ad that uses the font Papyrus. Ever. I mean it. Not even if you offer me $14!
