Tooth Fairy Experience - Guest Post and Round-Up

Huck recently lost his first teeth! He's not even five years old yet, so I was totally shocked and not at all ready when the loose teeth were discovered. But I pulled myself together and, of course, went a little nuts with the Tooth Fairy Experience. I wrote a post about all of the fun things we did, starting with a mysterious package from the Tooth Fairy herself and including a tutorial and pattern for a simple felt envelope to hold the lost teeth. You can read all about it over on The Southern Institute of Arts and Crafts!

And while I was brainstorming ideas for our own Tooth Fairy Experience, I found a TON of inspiration and cute products that I wanted to share right here. Enjoy!

TikeALike, Custom Tooth Fairy Pouch, $5 + shipping
TikeALike on Etsy makes these very cute custom pouches for lost teeth. You can choose from a variety of hairstyles, colors, eyes and skin tone to match the illustration to your little one.

Goody Goody Handmade, Matyroshka Tooth Pillow, free pattern and tutorial
Lauren from Goody Goody Handmade has a free tutorial and downloadable PDF pattern for this sweet matroyshka tooth pillow.

looploft Tooth Fairy Pillow with Chart, $25 + shipping
This was one of the most clever tooth pillows I found on my quest for tooth receptacles. Just use a permanent maker and you can record the dates when those precious pearls came out!

Office of the Tooth Fairy Kit, $16 + shipping
The Office of The Tooth Fairy Kit makes sure your child's tooth loss experience is all legally recorded and squared away. After all, nobody wants to deal with a painful tooth audit!

Nest of Posies Tooth Fairy Door, (custom doors available for $17 in the Nest of Posies store)
When I saw this door, we just had to have one of our own! Huck was thrilled when his door (a little different from this one) showed up on our doorstep with a special note from the Tooth Fairy.

Remember to pop over to The Southern Institute and check out my post over there. And if you're visiting from Jenny's blog, Welcome to Hideous! Dreadful! Stinky! I hope you enjoyed what you've seen and you'll stick around for awhile :)

  1. Those are great! Any kid would be lucky to have them. I only ever got the underside of my pillow for the tooth fairy.
