Airplane Shirt for Huck

I found this shirt on sale at Target for $2. I did a freezer paper print of an airplane and clouds, and then drew around the plane with a fabric marker.

Placemats for Lynn

This is a set of six placemats I embellished. The placemats were plain linen and I added detail stitching and created the iron-on appliques using pink fabric and lace. Click on the images to see them larger.

These were given as a Mothers' Day gift for Steve's mom.

Miniature Portrait of Babs

I have been checking out a lot of miniature portraits lately and was inspired to create one featuring my fatty fatty fatso cat, Babs.
Babs is made of mixed media collage elements--mostly paper from my scrapbooking stash, but also some fabric, lace, beads and embroidery thread--carefully cut with an X-acto knife and gently glued down using tweezers. The frame had been sitting around since I found it on sale just after Christmas and bought it with no real plan. The portrait measures 2.5" x 1.5"

Babs is available in my Etsy shop here (more pictures, too!): click!
